Why did I get kicked out of my course/lesson?

Modified on Tue, May 23, 2023 at 5:32 PM

There are three reasons why you may have been kicked out or locked out of a course:

  1. Lack of activity
  2. Failed validation
  3. Failed exam

Lack of Activity

If you don't click or have any activity in the course for 30 minutes, the learning system will automatically exit you from the course and you may lose your progress.

If you are in the middle of a lesson and need to take a break, click EXIT COURSE and then return to the course or log out.

If you don't click EXIT COURES, you may lose your progress in the lesson and have to start the lesson again from the beginning.

Failed Validation

If you fail a validation checkpoint, you will be locked out of the course for a period of time, typically 24 hours.

Failed Exam

Some courses have restrictions on how many times you can take the final exam. If you exceed the number of attempts, you may be locked out or have to start the course again from the beginning. You can find more information inside your course.
