Course Length: 

30 hours of online instruction

You can complete it over a few weeks or months.

Once you’ve completed the course, you may download an electronic copy of your certificate as proof that you’ve completed the course.


Max Time

You can participate in the course a maximum of 3 hours per day. Once you reach your limit, you will be locked out of the course until the next day.


Final Exam

Your final exam consists of 25 multiple-choice questions. You need to score 70% or higher to pass, and you have five attempts to pass. You must wait for 24 hours before retesting. If you do not pass by the fifth attempt, you must repurchase the course and restart the course from the beginning.


Course Completion

Once you’ve completed the course, you may download an electronic copy of your certificate of completion. You will then be eligible to enroll in a behind-the-wheel program. Present your certificate to the school of your choice and they will send you a certificate of enrollment (Blue Card). You will now be able to take the permit test.

Technical requirements to take this course:

  • Internet-enabled device: desktop/laptop computer, tablet, or smartphone. Tablets and phones older than 5 years may have difficulties with the course content.
  • Computer speakers or headphones (to listen to audio in course videos)
  • Internet connection: 2-5 Mbps download bandwidth
  • Browser support: Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Microsoft Edge, or Mozilla Firefox
  • Internet Explorer is not supported
  • The browser must have cookies and JavaScript enabled
  • Adobe Reader or another PDF viewer (for electronic certificates)
